Projects

Projects are purposeful initiatives limited in time, resources, and budget, aimed at achieving a specific goal and creating a specific product, service, or result. Unlike day-to-day activities, each project has clearly defined tasks, beginnings and endings.

“Look at the stars, not at your feet. Try to understand what you see and wonder what makes the universe exist. Be inquisitive. And no matter how difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed in.”
(Stephen Hawking)

We are used to saying “people with special needs”. But let’s be honest: is anyone safe from anything in this life?
No one can know what will happen to him tomorrow, even in time.
A special need is the opportunity to live normally – to go to school, work, love, be friends, create, travel, have your own business, make mistakes, laugh, dream and be needed.

A person does not become a lesser person because of a disability. It is made smaller only by society, which takes its place aside.
A person in a wheelchair should not ask for permission to enter the city. A person with visual impairment should not turn a trip to the institution into an expedition. A child with a disability should not grow up with the feeling that the world is built without him.
It is not she who has to adapt to our indifference. It is our responsibility to make space suitable for people.

Inclusion is not a ramp ceremoniously erected for a photograph. This is not a check mark on a report or a beautiful word in a grant application. **Inclusion is when the door is truly open. For everyone.

We want a society in which a person is not forced to prove his right to be a full participant in life every day. Where a veteran does not become a “problem” after being wounded but remains a person with experience, strength, profession and dreams. Where the child is not hidden from the world because of his difference. Where old age does not mean loneliness. Where temporary vulnerability does not turn into a life sentence.

Our project is about space without humiliation. About availability without alms. About help without arrogance. About the possibility of not just surviving, and live to the fullest.
We will create conditions for learning, work, communication, self-realization and participation in community life. We will remove not only physical barriers, but also the worst – those that sit in people’s heads.

Because sometimes it is not the step that hinders a person with a disability the most.
She is disturbed by a look in which it is already written in advance: “You will not be able to.”

And we want to say the opposite:
you can
I need you.
You should be with us.
And this society is yours.

And if our space becomes, for at least one person, a place where for the first time in a long time she will not feel like a stranger, — so we have already done something important.
Because true inclusion begins at the moment when the word “we” ceases to have exceptions.

Public HAB is an open space for the cooperation of activists, public organizations and community residents, which unites people to work together on social projects, hold trainings and exercises, discuss socially important issues and implement public initiatives.
Public HUB “FACE TO FACE“ is not just a room. this place where people stop waiting for change and start implementing it.

We are not starting from scratch. and with our own funds, we have already created and prepared an inclusive space for the arrangement of the Public Transport Center — carried out a major renovation and created a physical environment in which people with various needs can study, work, communicate, develop own initiatives and be a full-fledged part of the community.

KHAB should become a meeting place for those who do not want to be alone with their problems. Projects should be born here, partners should be found, training should take place, teams should work, new ideas should be heard, and those who lack it should find support.
We will gradually improve the space: equip it with the necessary equipment, create comfortable and accessible conditions, expand opportunities for training, work, consultations, cultural and social events.

We have already created the walls. Now we fill them with life.
Because the real HAB is not square meters.
These are people who come in here with a problem, and come out with the opportunity.

Psychological and legal support is comprehensive assistance that combines care for a person’s psychological state with the protection of his rights and legal interests. Psychological help helps to cope with stress and anxiety, and legal help helps to understand legal issues and find ways to solve them.

If everyone who is a little easier today, will extend a hand to those who have a harder time – there will be less loneliness, less despair and less human pain in the world. Because sometimes, in order to save a person from the darkness, it is not necessary to create a miracle. It is enough just not to pass by.

There is pain that cannot be seen. And there is an injustice that does not leave a bruise. But this does not make them any less real.
War, losses, forced relocation, injury, violence, destroyed home, loss of job, disintegration of usual life – sometimes a person comes out of it alive on the outside, but inside remains standing in the middle of ruins.
And the worst thing is when at this moment they tell her: “Hold on, we are close, FACE TO FACE.”

We want to give more than just advice to hang on.
We want to reach out.

Psychological support is an opportunity to finally say out loud what a person has been carrying inside himself for months, and sometimes years. No shame. No judgement. Without the phrase “it’s even harder for others.”
Because someone else’s pain does not cancel yours.
A person has the right to be tired. He has the right to cry. He has the right to be afraid. Has the right to ask for help.

And legal support is needed where the cold language of documents, laws, statements, procedures and refusals is added to human pain.
When a person has lost their home, does not know how to apply for their rights, faced discrimination, violence, bureaucracy or injustice,
it is not enough for her to hear: “You need to turn to this and that.”
She needs someone to help her along the way.

We strive to combine psychological and legal support, because life does not fall into boxes. A person does not have a separate folder for his soul and a separate folder for problems with the law. All this is one person. Her life. Her dignity. Her right to the future.
Our project is for those who find themselves in a situation where it is already difficult to do it on their own. For veterans and their families, internally displaced people, people with disabilities, victims of war, violence or injustice – for everyone who today needs not indifferent eyes, but a human shoulder and professional help.

We don’t promise that we can take away all the pain. But we can not allow a person to stay with him alone.
Sometimes life breaks in one minute.
And it can take years to get back to yourself.
We want to be close to you on this particular path.
So that the person who came to us with his shoulders down might one day raise his head again.
So that after “I don’t know anymore what to do” appeared:
“Let’s try.”

And after fear – action.
After weakness – a support.
After dark – at least a little, but light.

Because help is not when people live their lives for a person.
Help is when she regains the strength to live independently.

Educational programs are structured sets of educational materials, classes, practical tasks and activities designed to acquire new knowledge, develop skills and achieve defined educational goals. They determine the content, format and sequence of training and help participants gain knowledge that can be applied in practice.

You can give money to a person. You can help her today. But if you don’t give her knowledge, skills and confidence in her own abilities, tomorrow she will again find herself in front of the same closed door.

We don’t just want to open doors. We want to teach people how to find keys.

For us, education is much more than a diploma, grade or certificate. It is the ability to understand the world and not allow it to manipulate you. Know your rights. Be able to protect yourself. Use modern technologies. Speak persuasively. Work. Create your own business. To learn new things, even when it seems that the train has already left.

We will create educational and educational programs, trainings, seminars, lectures, practical classes and open meetings. For youth and adults, veterans and their families, people with disabilities, internally displaced persons, activists, community representatives — for everyone who wants not just to get information, but to turn it into action.

Because it is easy to manage a society where people do not know their rights.
We are not interested in the listener who simply nods his head. We are interested in a person who gets up from his chair after studying and goes to change something.
We believe in education, after which not only the resume changes.

A person changes.
And behind her is the family.
Community.
And finally, the country.

Because one educated person can change his own life.
And thousands of people who have learned to think, act and be responsible for themselves are capable of changing the entire state.

Coworking is an open and shared space for work, study and live communication, where active residents, public organizations, entrepreneurs and initiative groups come together to work on their own and common ideas, share experience and implement socially important projects for the development of our community.

We create a coworking space as a space for those who work, study, start their own business, are looking for new opportunities or just need a normal place to focus and move forward.
Because the war took away from many people not only their homes, their jobs, or their usual rhythm. She took away the feeling of the ground under her feet. And our task is to help return it.
Table, a chair, the Internet and an outlet — this is not a co-working space. Coworking begins where people, ideas and the opportunity to say: “Let’s do it” appear nearby.

Here you can work independently and together, hold meetings, study, consult, create projects, find partners and turn an idea into a concrete business.
We want to pay special attention to people for whom access to quality work space is difficult: veterans, internally displaced persons, people with disabilities, representatives of public initiatives, young people and those who are forced to start their professional life anew.

Ми не хочемо вирощувати споживачів допомоги. Ми хочемо створювати середовище, де народжуються самостійність, відповідальність і власний результат.

Maybe someone will come here with one laptop and a shaky idea.
And it will work – with the first team.
Someone will come looking for a job.
And he will find a partnership.
Someone will come just to work for a few hours.
And he will stay, because he will understand: he is no longer alone.

And this is the true meaning of coworking.
We do not create jobs. We create opportunities. And the opportunity once in the right hands, it can sometimes change a whole life.

An independent publishing house is an independent platform for creating and distributing relevant, socially important and independent information that does not depend on political or commercial interests. It provides an opportunity to talk about topics important to society, present different views, raise uncomfortable issues and spread information, which helps people better understand events and make their own decisions.

We will create our own media that will not sell the truth to the highest bidder.
Because information is also a weapon. Especially when the country is fighting not only for territory, but also for the right to call black as black, evil as evil, and truth as truth.
We are tired of information noise, where the headline screams louder than fact, sensation is more important than truth, and someone else’s interest is disguised as public good.

“PRAVDORIZ” is created precisely to cut this noise. Acutely. Fair. Frankly.

We will create our own media — a platform for journalism, analytics, journalism, interviews, investigations, documentary materials and author’s opinions. Let’s talk about things that are uncomfortable to talk about. Let’s ask questions where everyone is used to being silent. We will look for facts where others are satisfied with rumors.

We don’t need journalism that caresses the government. We need journalism that is not afraid to scratch.
“PRAVDORIZ” is not a mouthpiece for politicians, business or someone’s ambitions. It is a space for the voice of society, for people whose stories are often lost between official statements and beautiful reports.

We want to give a voice to those who are not heard.
The names of those who is forgotten.
Facts for those who are trying to convince that “nothing happened”.

Because silence is a great ally of injustice.

We aim to create media that doesn’t have to be taken for granted. It will be possible to check, criticize, question it – and this is where we see the power of independent journalism.

Our principle is simple:
If you don’t like the truth, change the reality, not the truth.

“PRAVDORIZ” should become a place where the word does not embellish reality, but prepares it to the bone.
We don’t cut people. Let’s cut the lies.

Regional development is a continuous process of positive changes in communities and regions, aimed at improving the quality of life of people, developing local opportunities, supporting public initiatives, creating new perspectives for residents and effective use of territorial resources. It involves joining the efforts of the community, public organizations, local self-government, business and the state for the sustainable development of territories.

We don’t want a country where the future is only in big cities. A strong state is not a few successful centers in the middle of a territory that is slowly fading away. It is a network of strong communities, each of which has a voice, opportunities and faith in its own strength.
Regional development for the NGO “FACE TO FACE” is about people who do not want to be statistics on the map. About communities that have the right not just to survive, but to develop, create jobs, attract investments, support entrepreneurship, education, culture, social and public initiatives.
We strive to support local projects, help communities find resources, partners and new development tools, promote the exchange of experience and the dissemination of successful practices.

Because an empty community is not just a demographic problem. This is a lost future.

We want a young person not to have to travel hundreds of kilometers just because there is no opportunity to realize himself at home. So that an entrepreneur can create a business not against the community, but together with it. So that the local initiative does not die from the word “no funding”.

And the most important thing is that people stop waiting, when someone comes and saves their settlement.
Society should not wait for a hero. She herself must become a force.

We want to see the regions of Ukraine alive: with enterprises and workplaces, schools and cultural spaces, an accessible environment, active residents, modern infrastructure and respect for local history.

Because development is not concrete or statistics.
This is when a person looks at the place where he was born and says: “I want to live here. I want to work here. I want my children to grow up here.”

We strive to help create such communities.
Not subsidized. Not silent. Not doomed.
Capable Self-sufficient. Alive

Because Ukraine will not be strong when only the center becomes strong.
Ukraine will be strong when strength appears in every community.
