Activity

Activity is a conscious and purposeful human effort aimed at transforming the surrounding world, fulfilling one’s needs, and achieving set goals.

A community lives by actions, not declarations. Where rights are violated, we must respond decisively. Where a person needs support, we must focus our efforts on solving their problem rather than leaving them to face it alone. Where the state requires strength, we must provide it; where knowledge, opportunities, or solidarity are lacking, we will persistently open doors to them.

In accordance with the Charter of the NGO “FACE TO FACE”, our efforts will be focused on the following key areas of activity:

**1. Promoting Democracy and Countering Corruption**
We are firmly committed to making significant efforts to protect the rights and freedoms of citizens. We will help defend their legitimate interests, counter injustice, discrimination, and corruption as effectively as possible, and uphold the principles of legality, transparency, and integrity.

**2. Supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Defense**
For many consecutive years, all members of our team have been uniting people, resources, and partners to meet the needs of Ukraine’s defenders and strengthen the capabilities of the defense forces. Since 2014, every representative of the NGO “FACE TO FACE” has dedicated personal effort to enhancing our nation’s defense capability.

**3. Community Development**
We are dedicated to supporting civic initiatives, fostering the development of local communities, and creating new opportunities for their residents. The NGO “FACE TO FACE” strives to expand its reach to further cultivate a culture of charity within society.

**4. Inclusion, Social Support, and Cultural Heritage**
Through the dedicated work of our team, we have already established a barrier-free space of opportunity that complies with all accessibility standards. Moving forward, we will continue to enhance equal conditions for everyone’s participation in community life and support individuals who find themselves in difficult life circumstances.
We also plan to actively contribute to the preservation of Ukrainian cultural heritage and support cultural initiatives.

**5. Education and Awareness**
This is a dedicated pillar of our work, because true democracy is only possible in an advanced society where people possess knowledge, skills, and an awareness of their personal responsibility. We will conduct educational and awareness-building events, training sessions, seminars, and lectures to develop knowledge, practical skills, and civic competence.

**6. Ecology**
We accept the responsibility of promoting an environmentally conscious mindset.
The planet is no longer just sending warnings—it is crying out for help. Right now, we are witnessing Earth’s own protest against human carelessness: climate change, extreme weather events, the depletion of natural resources, and the consequences of long-term human interference in natural ecosystems. The responsibility for what kind of planet we leave behind for future generations rests on each and every one of us.

**7. Information and Public Outreach**
We have a great deal to say and to bring to life. We will disseminate socially vital information, highlight pressing issues, unite people around shared values, and encourage citizens to take an active role in society.

All these represent different dimensions of a single mission: refusing to stand aside when our collective tomorrow is being decided. We do not promise to change the world overnight. However, we choose taking action over passively observing; taking responsibility over pointing fingers; and standing united over standing alone.

Because a community does not start with a sign on a door or a grand proclamation. It begins with a person who says one day: “I care.”
