Support and Provision for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) is a comprehensive set of financial, logistical, medical, food, and other measures necessary to properly equip military personnel, maintain unit combat readiness, and ensure the continuous execution of their missions.

An army that was learning to survive just yesterday has today become one of the most powerful fighting forces in Europe. And this is no stroke of luck. It is the result of courage, blood, hard work, technology, and the immense price paid by Ukrainian society.

Yet a strong army is not only those holding weapons. Standing behind every soldier is a vast supply system: weaponry and ammunition, vehicles, communications, medical supplies, transport, rations, uniforms, fuel, maintenance, and millions of other details without which heroism alone on the battlefield cannot decide the outcome.

War does not forgive empty warehouses.

That is why supporting the Defense Forces is the responsibility of the entire nation.

The primary source of funding for the AFU is the State Budget of Ukraine—funds generated from taxes, duties, and other state revenues. In 2026, Ukraine is directing unprecedented resources toward the security and defense sector; following the June adjustments, total resources amount to approximately 4.367 trillion UAH.

A distinct funding mechanism is the military levy paid by citizens and businesses. As of July 1, 2026, it is credited in full to a special fund of the state budget and earmarked specifically for the financial compensation of AFU service members.

There are other state resources as well, including customs revenues and international financial assistance, which help Ukraine maintain resilience during wartime and direct its own resources toward defense.

However, there is another force that cannot be quantified in budget line items.

The Ukrainian people.

The volunteer gathering funds. The entrepreneur donating equipment. The family purchasing necessities for their defender. The community fulfilling a specific request. The individual contributing a portion of their monthly income to the military.

It is precisely from millions of such decisions that the rear guard is built.

The state funds the army. The people support the army. The army protects the people.

And our task is to be a vital link in this chain not just in words, but in deeds.

We strive to offer help where state resources are insufficient or where a rapid, targeted response is needed: bringing people and partners together, securing essential resources, supporting specific units, and responding to the urgent needs of our defenders.

Because providing support is not simply about “buying something.”

It is about ensuring that the person taking their post on the front line tomorrow has everything they need to return home alive.

And as long as they hold Ukraine, we will hold them.
