Urgent needs

Urgent Needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are top-priority requests from military personnel to which the NGO “FACE TO FACE” can rapidly respond by mobilizing funds, resources, and partner support. This includes acquiring essential gear, communication tools, technical and medical equipment, transport, and tactical supplies, as well as repairing and servicing machinery and delivering targeted aid to specific military units. Our principle is simple: receive a specific request — find a way — fulfill the need.

War does not ask if today is a convenient time for us to help. It simply arrives—and hands us the bill.

Ukraine has already proven that it can do more than merely endure; it can build one of the most formidable combat capacities in Europe. Yet modern warfare leaves no room for complacency. What was sufficient yesterday may prove too late tomorrow.

Today, among Ukraine’s key priorities officially highlighted are air defense, ammunition, unmanned systems, and long-range capabilities. The Ministry of Defense also stresses the critical need to scale up the domestic production of Ukrainian drones and munitions.

Behind every item on that list, however, stands more than just a number in a report.

Stands a human life.

A drone provides vision and the ability to strike at a distance. Electronic warfare equipment offers the chance to avoid being left blind and defenseless. Ammunition gives the ability to strike back. Air defense offers the chance to safeguard a city. Medical supplies provide a lifeline to extract the wounded. Transport delivers essential support right where it is awaited.

That is why we aim to respond to verified, concrete needs of Defense Force units by pooling the resources of the community, partners, benefactors, and businesses.

We do not need assistance merely for the sake of a attractive report.

We need results.

We strive to support the procurement of essential gear, communication systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, medical supplies, and other necessities—strictly in line with current requests and within legal frameworks. Ukraine is also actively expanding its own defense manufacturing: according to the Ministry of Defense, the capacity of Ukrainian industry allows for scaling up the production of drones and missiles.

Because defense capability is not a single, grand heroic act.

It consists of millions of small decisions made on time.

Someone donated.
Someone manufactured.
Someone repaired.
Someone delivered.
Someone trained.
Someone saved a life.

And all of this converges on a single outcome: giving the Ukrainian service member a better chance to return home.

We have no right to wait until an urgent need turns into a tragedy.

An urgent need is one that must be fulfilled before it becomes a loss.

Therefore, we will listen, verify, unite, and act.

Without unnecessary fanfare.

Because in times of war, the highest form of patriotism is a task completed on time.
